What betterway to get into the holiday spirit than by taking in a parade? An annual tradition in Oshawa. Following the official tree lighting ceremony on Friday. The Santa's parade of lights is one of the best parades in Durham Region. The parade shows off a large number of floats, marching bands and other participants. Thousands come out to see the annual Parade of Lights.

Park by The Bay at the south and south-west side, or north and north-west at Sears, at the Oshawa Centre. Santa’s Parade of Lights, Oshawa starts at 6:00 p.m. and all parking lots on the east side of the mall are closed. Vehicles parked on the east side at 6:00 p.m. will be completely blocked in until the parade is over.
